Well, it seems that, however slow the community may be, there's still stuff going on. At least we're SOMEWHAT alive, and not dead. Haha, that would be hilarious.

"THE RM* COMMUNITY IS DEAD!"
"WTF are you talking about."
"WHAT?! The community is back?! Destroy!!"

... Okay, yeah, that was melodramatic and stolen from 4chan. I can't use memes? No. I can't. I must make my own!!

All right, all right, enough of that. On to the real news.

Township Games' "Demo Day" has been pushed back to September 22nd, due to people forgetting it ever existed. Goes to show what not reminding people constantly of something will do. Let's hope that we see a good amount of games. Last Demo Day, TSG saw at least 11 titles. Will I release anything? Maybe. Maybe not. I'm not George Foreman.

On the other side of the galaxy, Gaming World's Game & Demo forum is hosting a game design contest. The main premise is to use one or more of four themes ("technology," "war," "female lead character," and "sand") to create a 2-5 minute game. There's quite a few people signed up right now, so there's no telling who's going to get grand prize. Then again, the legacy of these type of competitions is that usually about 80% of all the participants drop out by the end of the time period for the contest. Ah well, we'll see what happens this time.

Information on the competition can be found here.

That's more or less all the news there is in the community so far. dragonheartman has started work on the fourth chapter of his Dragon Heart game. There's a wiki for Kobra's Realm now. But, other than that, there's nothing really all that big. I'll be playing The Genesis Project Phase Two: Resurrection for a while; I might get a review up. And yes, Ashanti is still much more win than Tarin. But Luce beats them both. =D
