Kobra's Realm and RPG Maker

Kobra's Realm made its debut on November 22, 2002 as a website to host Kobra's RPG Maker games. Within a few short weeks, Kobra began to try and model it after Dark Dominion, a popular RPG Maker website at the time, as well as another PHP-driven RPG Maker website whose "resources" were focused on the popular TV series, Dragonball Z.
Kobra's Realm was hacked shortly into its development and all data was lost. A disgruntled ex-staff member, Lunar, who hired an angry Turkish hacker. TREMO, as he identified himself, attacked Kobra's Realm based off a rumur and a lie spread by Lunar. Kobra was left to rebuild with nothing to base it on.
The second Kobra's Realm was improved, but still had its flaws. Security was tightened, and the pages were more organized. Kobra's Realm withstood the attempts of a novice hacker, but eventually fell to a datacenter disaster.
The third Kobra's Realm arose in Late 2005, and is still in the process of being completely rebuilt.
Kobra's Realm is focused on amateur game development using a series of programs called "RPG Maker." Kobra's Realm hosts resources for enhancing your RPG Maker project, tutorials for developing your game better, and games submitted by users who have finished their projects. But Kobra's Realm isn't just about games anymore.
The literary section of Kobra's Realm, while it has not recieved as much attention as the other sections, now accomodates non-RPG Maker based literature. RPG Maker articles are still encouraged, of course, but articles and poetry irrelevant to RPG Maker are often found there.
Please note that RPG Maker is not legal to own in most cases, and if you are caught with a copy of it on your computer you may be prosecuted for pirating software. Kobra's Realm encourages the use of the new, legal addition to the series, RPG Maker XP.
